Trinity B. is the daughter of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Brian B. Sr. “My father was a very tough, hilarious, and easily lovable man,” she explained. “He adopted me at the age of 3 because knew he loved me and wanted to take care of me. When he signed the adoption papers to change my last name to his own, it meant more to me than anyone will ever know.” Staff Sergeant B. passed away in 2015 due to a service-connected illness.

With help from Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (Fallen Patriots), Trinity is studying biology at Jones County Junior College. She plans to become a wild animal veterinarian so she can assist animals of all kinds, including large predators most people are afraid to help. “I have always loved animals since I was a young child. As I grew older, I learned how mistreated animals are around the world, and my heart has been set on helping them ever since. As my father protected our country, I wanted to protect our animals.”

Trinity believes her father would be proud that she is in college and conquering her goals. He inspires her to fight for what she believes in as his military service makes her proud to call him her father.

“Fallen Patriots has impacted my life so much. Without their gracious assistance, I would be really struggling with money to get through college. They have really helped me start out my journey in college very smoothly, and I am so beyond grateful.”

There are approximately 25,000 children who have lost an active duty parent in the military over the last 35 years. The vision of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is to ensure that every such child receives all necessary college funding.
